Christina Goetz
Design manager
Christina believes FHI gives clients an experience unlike any other construction company, proven by how many clients return or send referrals. She wants clients to see their finished project looking exactly like the 3D designs from their final design meeting.
Christina grew up in Alma, Kansas, and fell in love with house design in high school drafting classes. When she was a freshman, her parents built their own home, and she spent nearly every weekend helping, from framing to painting. After earning an associate degree in computer aided drafting, she started at Custom Wood Products as a drafter, later working mostly as a project manager. She then gained barndominium experience with a post-frame general contractor before joining FHI in 2025. As Design Manager, Christina helps turn clients’ dreams into reality. She meets clients face to face and follows up with drawings, details and updated budgets, so her biggest impact is communication and project planning. She uses 3D design software to solve problems before they reach the field. Her years at Custom Wood Products, which supplies nearly every FHI project, help her deliver what clients want. For one family updating their grandmother’s farmhouse, an early design opened the main floor into exactly the open concept they had hoped for.
Christina and her husband have five children, ages 9 to 20, all active in sports, so the family is often in the stands. She has stepped back from coaching softball and volleyball and now enjoys watching. When she has time, she loves to read and head to the lake with her kids.
